OpenGL Demos

Here you can find some nice OpenGL demos. They are just some scenes, that try to be impressive I want to create something like unreal landscapes or dream lands in the future, but I must find some time.

Another university project, which uses Bullet Physics SDKs as physics engine. I also released a source code with it, but be warned - it's written in highly on-the-fly manner, so you might have some problems understanding it . However, no need to worry, as now I feel confident to start making some Bullet Physics Tutorials soon.

The demo implements boxes, capsules, exploding grenades and baguettes , though these explosions are broken (I was playing around with them just a little, but I decided to leave things there, I probably know how to repair them, but I'll leave it for some future tutorial.)

The demo also implements a hanging rope with box attached and metal chain. I hope you like it, while you wait for my next tutorial .

You can play around with LMB, RMB, even MMB and many keys on keyboard (try to find them out ).

You can also download my Visual Studio 2008 built Bulled Physics SDKs, if you don't like building stuff yourself using CMake and other similar stuff: Bullet 2.82 Visual Studio 2008 Build.

Demo project I was creating as university project. It shows a simple forest scene with some wolves, waterfall, house, ruins, fireplace and a flying fairy.

Most of OpenGL knowledge used here can be found in my tutorials. I also used my own particle system library for OpenGL 3.3 using transform feedback (I will put it on this webpage someday too).

The music is taken from World Of Warcraft - I was just randomly browsing youtube until I came to something "foresty" that fits to this scene.

For those interested in source code, I can send you via e-mail. I didn't want to put it here, because it's highly unorganized and many things have been added only on the fly and it really should be re-factored in some way.

My first OpenGL demo. Camera is moving through a snow-covered small village. Snow is falling, there are some snowmans built around and also nice background music is playing during the demo.

Here I used first version of my own model file format.
